Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Possess an MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine from a university recognized by the National Medical Commission. Candidates with a Post Graduate Degree in General Medicine from a recognized university are also eligible.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of experience practicing medicine in any hospital or clinic as a Registered Medical Practitioner.
• Location Constraint: The applicant's dispensary/residence should be within a radius of approximately 3-5 Km from the Bank's dispensary at Aryavart Reserve Bank Staff Quarters, Sector-J, Aliganj, Lucknow-226024.

Remuneration and Contract Terms

• The engagement will be purely on a contract basis for a period of three years, with no provision for renewal.
• Remuneration: ₹1000/- per hour for the entire contract period. Additionally, ₹1000/- per month will be treated as conveyance expenses.
• Working Hours: 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM (Monday – Saturday) for a total of 4 hours per day.
• No superannuation benefits, leave, or perquisites/facilities will be admissible.

Eligible candidates must apply offline as per the format given in Annex III (not provided in the text). Applications should be sent in a sealed cover, super-scribed as 'Application for the post of Medical Consultant (MC) on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration', to the following address:

Selection Procedure

1. Shortlisting: The Bank will shortlist eligible candidates based on their applications.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The Bank reserves the right to raise minimum eligibility standards to limit the number of candidates.
3. Document Verification: Applicants who clear the interview will undergo document verification.
4. Medical Examination: Subsequently, selected candidates will be subjected to medical examination/tests as per prescribed norms. The cost of these tests will be borne by the applicant.
5. Agreement: Candidates found medically fit must accept the Terms and Conditions of Contract and the Code of Conduct by signing an agreement with the Bank.

General Conditions

• The engagement is temporary and contractual, and no claim for regular employment will be entertained.
• The contract is terminable with three months' notice or three months' remuneration in lieu thereof. In cases of gross misconduct, the contract may be terminated with 10 days' notice.
