Vacancy Details

IBPS has not yet published the bank-wise or category-wise vacancy break-up. The detailed notification will list vacancies state-wise and category-wise (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS, with PwBD and Ex-Servicemen reservations) for the participating Public Sector Banks. Candidates apply against the vacancies of one state/UT and appear for the exam from centres of that state.

Eligibility Criteria (Expected — as per IBPS CSA norms)

• Education: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university, with working knowledge of computer systems
• Age: 20 to 28 years (relaxation: SC/ST +5 years, OBC-NCL +3 years, PwBD +10 years, and others as per Government rules)
• Language: Proficiency in the official language of the state/UT applied for is desirable

Selection Process

1. Pre-Examination Training (PET) for eligible SC/ST/Minority/Ex-Servicemen candidates
2. Online Preliminary Examination (October 2026) — English Language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability
3. Online Main Examination (December 2026) — General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude
4. Provisional Allotment to participating banks based on Mains merit and state/bank preferences — no interview for the clerical cadre

Salary

Selected Customer Service Associates join the clerical cadre pay scale of ₹24,050 – 64,480, plus DA, HRA, special allowances, and other benefits of the allotted bank.
