Fact-Checking Policy
Accuracy is central to what we do. This policy explains how we verify listings, what sources we treat as authoritative, and how we handle corrections.
Verification
Before publishing, each listing is cross-checked against the official notification PDF or the recruiting authority's official website. Key details — dates, vacancy counts, eligibility criteria and fees — are taken directly from the primary source rather than secondary reporting.
Sources We Rely On
We treat the official notification PDF and the recruiting authority's own website (SSC, UPSC, state Public Service Commissions, Railway Recruitment Boards, individual ministries and PSUs) as the authoritative source for every listing. We do not rely on unofficial forwards, social media posts, or third-party aggregator sites to establish a fact — they may be used only to learn that a notification exists, never as the basis for the details we publish.
Keeping Listings Current
Government notifications sometimes change after initial publication — deadlines get extended, vacancy counts get revised, or exam dates shift. When we become aware of such changes, we update the corresponding listing and its "Updated on" date, and note the change where relevant.
Reporting an Error
If you find information on this site that doesn't match the official notification, pleasecontact us or email hello@karmosandhan.com with the page URL and a link to the official source. We aim to acknowledge reports within 2 business days and correct verified errors promptly.
Limitations
Our listings can only be as current as the official source that publishes them. If a recruiting authority changes a notification without publicly updating it, or takes down/moves an official page, there may be a gap before that change is reflected here. We recommend always confirming time-sensitive details — deadlines in particular — directly on the official website before taking action.
