Training Venues

Training will be conducted at the following five venues across West Bengal (tick any one preferred venue on the application form):

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Class 12 (Higher Secondary) pass or equivalent

Step-by-step selection procedure:

1. Winage (training partner) examines applications and documents at the DSWO office
2. An Interview-cum-Screening Committee is formed at the district level — chaired by a Deputy Magistrate & Deputy Collector, with the DSWO as Member-Convenor and a Winage representative as Member
3. The Committee shortlists candidates based on the 45:05 weightage and prepares a resolution
4. The DSWO submits the shortlist to the District Magistrate
5. The DM recommends the final candidates to the Directorate of Social Welfare (DSW)
6. Final approval is given by the WCD&SW Department, after which selected candidates undertake the training

Required Documents

Submit the application form along with:

1. Self-attested photocopy of Class XII Certificate / Mark Sheet issued by WBCHSE or any other recognised Council/Board
2. Self-attested photocopy of Birth Certificate / Admit Card or Secondary Examination Certificate as proof of date of birth
3. Self-attested photocopy of Aadhaar Card
4. One passport-sized colour photo signed by the candidate, pasted on the form, plus one extra signed copy submitted with the form

How to Apply (Offline)

1. Collect the blank application form from the concerned BDO / SDO / DM office in Murshidabad district
2. Fill in the form in block letters — name, parent/spouse name, gender, date of birth, Aadhaar, address, mobile, email, and educational details (Class 10 and Class 12 percentages)
3. Paste one signed passport-size colour photo and attach all self-attested documents
4. Tick your preferred training venue — Kolkata / Kalimpong / Berhampore / Farakka / Margram (any one)
5. Sign the declaration confirming 10 years' permanent residency in West Bengal
6. Submit the completed form at the same BDO / SDO / DM office and collect the office-sealed receipt with your reference number (format: 001/2026/District/WB)

SDOs and BDOs will forward all applications to the DM office within a prescribed date, which will be notified separately by the District Magistrate.
