Eligibility Criteria

• Annual Increment: Up to 10% of the existing consultancy fee, based on Annual Appraisal as per DIO rules.

• GST: The consultant is liable to pay GST as applicable, with a provision for reimbursement of GST paid against the consultancy fee received from DIO.
• TDS: Income Tax and other applicable taxes will be deducted at source, and DIO will issue a TDS certificate.

Contract Period: Initially 3 years, extendable by up to 2 further years based on DIO's requirement and satisfactory performance. In exceptional circumstances (with outstanding performance in the last two years), the contract may be extended beyond 5 years with DIO Board approval, but not beyond the age of 60 years. No work experience certificate will be issued if the consultant leaves before completing the initial contract period.
