Eligibility

• Only fresh pass-outs of 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible
• Graduate/Diploma holders with 1 year or more of training or job experience after obtaining the essential qualification are not eligible to be engaged as an apprentice under the Apprentices Act, 1961
• Candidates applying for Graduate Apprentice and Technician Apprentice (Diploma) must register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS 2.0) portal at nats.education.gov.in before applying

Stipend

Graduate Apprentice: ₹12,300/month · Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: ₹10,900/month, as per Apprentices Act, 1961 norms.

Selection Process

The Apprentice Selection Committee decides selection on the basis of merit and interview. Only selected candidates will be informed through an offer letter via email.

How to Apply

1. Register on the NATS 2.0 portal (nats.education.gov.in), if applying for Graduate or Technician (Diploma) Apprentice
2. Download and fill the Application Form (enclosed with the official notification) by typing — handwritten forms are not accepted
3. Affix a recent passport-size photograph and sign the form
4. Attach self-attested copies of all supporting documents/certificates, including your college's CGPA-to-percentage conversion formula document (if applicable)
5. Combine everything into a single PDF and email it to apprentice.acem@gov.in
6. Ensure your application reaches on or before 26 July 2026 — do not send any hard copy

Terms & Conditions

• All correspondence with candidates will be through electronic mode only
• ACEM will not be responsible for any loss of email due to invalid email IDs or delivery to SPAM/Bulk folders
• No quarters, hostel accommodation, or transportation will be provided to apprentices
• This is a purely temporary engagement; completion of apprenticeship does not confer any right to employment at ACEM/DRDO
• Any canvassing or personal follow-up will lead to immediate cancellation of candidature
• ACEM reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the advertisement/selection process at its discretion
