Age Limit
Candidates should not exceed 28 years as on 2026-08-16. Age relaxation is applicable for:
- OBC candidates: 31 years

Educational Qualification
For Assistants/Upper Division Clerk (Post No. 1, 3 & 5):
- Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale from a recognized University, completed within the minimum stipulated duration of the course.
- Proficiency in the use of Computers.
For Junior Personal Assistant/ Stenographer (Post No. 2, 4 & 6):
- Graduation with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale from a recognized University, completed within the minimum stipulated duration of the course; OR
- Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale from a recognized Board/University, completed within the minimum stipulated duration of the course.
- One-year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer.
- A minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography.
- Proficiency in the use of Computers.
Note: Apprenticeship Training Certificate issued by BOAT under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme, Apprenticeship Act 1961, will be considered equivalent to one year experience as Steno-Typist/Stenographer. Specific rules apply for CGPA/percentage reckoning in case of Dual/Integrated Degree programmes.
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed in Level 4 of Pay Matrix with a minimum basic pay of Rs. 25,500/- per month, along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, and other benefits as per Central Government rules.
